Do you ever rush through your day and wonder where the time went? Do you feel like if only there was more time, you could get everything done and you wouldn’t feel so stressed? Do you worry that you won’t get it all done on time and feel anxious about the future?

If this is you, then you’ve got a lot of company! According to a recent Harris poll, more than 83% of Americans workers feel overwhelmed by unreasonable workloads. We live in a country that was founded on freedom and the pursuit of happiness, and yet most of us feel trapped in the rat race.

You can feel overwhelmed by duties at home, too. Whether you have children, aging parents, or other family members, taking care of the needs of others can be exhausting. Daily chores around the home can eat up all of your time and still leave you feeling that you haven’t accomplished anything.

If you would like to find a way to get it all done and still have time for yourself and to relax, then I have good and bad news for you.

First, the bad news.

All of those tips you read about how to be more efficient and get more done in less time will probably have little impact on your overall lifestyle. Most productivity tips can show you how to get more done, but they don’t show you how to avoid taking more on.
